So What Wednesday...

Yep. It is So What Wednesday again... Shannon from Life After I Dew hosts this each week - I kind of like it - A LOT!

- So what... if I tried to crank out 12 miles last night on the treadmill, made it to 5 and felt like I could puke up Cadbury eggs.

- So what... if I have YET to get the kids Easter baskets and/or their outfits ready.

- So what... if I am so pale that I freak myself out in the mirror each morning.

- So what... if yesterday I told myself "Today I am eating better" - then at lunch I ate a sandwich on a pretzel bun, chips, and cookie followed by an afternoon snack of 2 more cookies - bad run huh? wonder where that came from;)

- So what... I am more excited about the girls coming in for my half-marathon than I am about the run itself.

- So what... if I am slightly depressed that Margarita Thursday (Elle's dance night) is on Spring Break this week - BOO:(

- So what... if I haven't cut my hair in almost a year - dead ends much?

- So what... if today I wore a Brady Band in my hair to work - workouthairdon'tcare

- So what... if I told my friend Sarah I would take up golf with her - which really meant I will drive the golf cart and provide the cocktails.

- So what... if I am so over this week already that I could honestly throat punch someone.

- So what... if I took off work early on Monday, 04/08/13 so I can go down to Kiener Plaza to be in the mix of all the Cardinals opening day fun - and I have yet to find someone to go with me. HA. Alone doesn't bother me;)

P.S. Remember the Catfish Story HERE - You all had some GREAT questions and the wonderful Susan did a FAQ follow-up Post - check it out HERE at Susan's blog. So interesting...

  5. I haven't gotten the Easter stuff out of the attic yet either.

I am pretty positive I will be coming to the STL next weekend:)It is going to be VERY VERY hard to choose not drinking for the running part.

And in the last year I played in 2 Golf Tournaments(first time ever to play) and came home with trophies. It was really pretty fun!

Week is almost over! Just keep swimming, just keep swimming....

  10. I LOVE that way you wore your hair today, it looks great! I'm with you on the eating better and being pale. UGH! I need to get some tan towels or self tanning lotion. I'm so excited for your 1/2 marathon next week, I wish I could make the trip. Cannot wait to hear all about it!

  11. I am going for a year of no hair cutting. It's the only way my hair really grows if I just don't cut it for a long time! How long has your hair grown in that year?

  15. There is nothing better than driving a golf cart around with a cocktail/beer. And if I lived closer, I'd be all for some Cardinals opening day fun!

  16. Just wondering if you ate those cadbury cream eggs. Easter has the best candy and in a sick moment (very sick) I decided this was the best time for a cleanse of the whole system. Maybe there'll be some leftover easter candy I can devour on Monday? e-diddy :)

  17. Haha, I am SO PALE, too! I bought some St. Tropez tanning stuff from Sephora this weekend and I realy love it. I am VERY loyal to my Ulta Tan Towels though and always will be! :)

  18. Let's not talk about Easter. I have no idea what the kids are going to wear. They have no spring clothes. So, I guess I will be going shopping one night this week to get them an outfit. Although it will probably be cold enough for them to wear their Christmas outfits!

Thank you Baby Jesus for Cardinals Baseball! This momma is itching for some ballpark fun! We bought one of those special packages, so I know we have some games coming up. So excited!

Keep me posted on any outside activities you guys have planned next weekend. Todd & I have tickets to see Mike Tyson's one man show on Friday night at the Peabody. Todd has a trivia night on Saturday night, but I am sure that Ma-Ma Barb would love to watch her favorite grandchildren two nights in a row!

  19. Girl the paleness is killing me, I have naturally olive skin but I am not used to being this white. Ditching the tanning bed was necessary for my health but I'm just not used to this shade of white - ha ha! May have to cave and get a spray tan, so afraid of turning orange though!! eek! No biggie on the hair either, I cut mine once or twice a year but it usually includes several inches because I get sick of it and chop it all off, then decide to grow it all out again, its a vicious cycle!! ... Hope your feeling better soon chick - we all go through "those days" ... Gotta Keep Ya Head Up ;)

You just HAD to mention Cadbury eggs again, didn't you? :) Those damn little nuggets of heaven, yum!

  27. I totally have not cut my hair in a very long time. I am desperate for a haircut, the ends are starting to look rough. And I think this week has been bad for a lot of people, because honestly, yesterday I wanted to hit something/someone. I went to the gym instead, which I suppose is a healthy use of my aggression haha...

  28. Um, golf cart + cocktails is 90% of the fun of golfing. Your head is in the right place there :)
